Here are some photos and comments sent by our new puppy
owners.
Video of Axel at 8 weeks. He is typical of the quality we breed at New
Moon.
Sonia,
We are so pleased with 'Fausto', now 'Hank'. a nice
southern name for a laid back, slightly goofy but
smart little puppy. He eats well. He does like to
get me up at least once a night but I don't mind. We
take a short, late night walk under the stars. Very
nice!
He is the cutest thing ever. He sits and gives us
his paw on command and follows well too. I'm hoping
his retrieving skills kick in soon. If you know of a
good 'retrieving book', please let me know. "Water
Dogs" was THE book of choice for labs when I was a
kid. Might have to find a copy and re-read.
All of the kids adore him as do my wife & I. He is
with me at work everyday and just hangs out in my
office. Very well behaved. But when we get home he
is full of energy as we take family walks around the
lake behind our house. He loves running in paw deep
water, bouncing up and over the lake weeds,
splashing around and getting dirty. My twin 9 year
old boys are always outdoors. They are All-Star
baseball players and Hank is learning the game
quickly. He has already been to 4 of their
practices. My 14 year old daughter plays guitar and
sings to him. She is always snuggling with him.
Though he's only a great snuggler when he is very
tired. Otherwise he locates the nearest A/C vent in
the house and sleeps. My oldest daughter just
started at the College of Charleston and she comes
by my office with her roommates regularly to see
him. Our 4 year old female Cockabichon (cocker
spaniel/ bichon mix) tolerates him at the moment but
he is growing on her. Pretty soon they will be best
pals. We haven't introduced him to our bird yet but
he definitely knows she's there.
Hank has had several play dates with his sister, my
brothers puppy, and they play hard. Watching them go
at it is far more entertaining than TV or movies. He
also had one play date with a friend of mine who has
a 10 week old German Shepard puppy. They did great
together. Hank is full of life, always happy and
everyone has to stop and love on him wherever we go.
My wife & I went out to dinner the other night, just
the three of us (Hank being the third) at a place
that also has outdoor seating. We wanted a nice
getaway from the kids for a night. Big
mistake...Before we even got our drinks, Hank had
attracted so much attention that we were constantly
being joined for dinner by strangers admiring our
beautiful puppy. We didn't mind.
As you can see Hank is a wonderful addition to our
family. We absolutely love him and he seems to
really love us back. I'll send you some pictures
real soon. Hopefully you'll get an email from
someone in Charleston, SC asking about your dogs
because everyone asks us where we got him. They are
so impressed with this beautiful ,white golden
retriever.
Thanks again!!!
Michael (Hank's Dad)
Sonia,
I haven't had a dog since I lost my Rottie in 1997. My
brother, Michael convinced me it was time and told me
about the English Cream Goldens. I had never heard of
them but soon became a huge fan! We both started
searching for breeders online. I came across New Moon
Goldens.
In doing our homework, we both had lengthy informative
conversations with you and it became readily apparent
that you were our choice. The care and passion you have
for your dogs' health and well being, as well as their
placements became the deciding factor...not to mention
how beautiful they are!
So I chose the girl formerly known as Fina. Her name is
Zooey but half the time I call her ZoZo. What a
beautiful, affectionate, fun loving little girl she is.
She's very confident and intelligent. In our first
couple of days, she's learned sit, down, paw, stay
(sometimes), and of course no! She loves going to work
with me and also play dates with her brother Hank
(Michael's boy). She has also become friends with a 120
lb white shepherd. She had her first swimming lesson
last weekend and was a natural!
Thanks again Sonia for your patience and expertise. You
made the whole process a pleasure.
I highly recommend
New Moon Goldens!

Hi Sonia:
You should be so proud of Flora, who we are calling
Bella Serendipity, or "Sere". Sere's first week has been
wonderful! She immediately became a comfortable and
loving part of our family. She is extremely smart,
energetic and loving. Watching her take in new smells,
tastes, sights and sounds has been amazing. Sere picked
up sit on the very first day with us and she's learning
more every day. She's encountered dragonflies, cicadas
and lots of neighbors, who tell her how beautiful and
sweet she is. This morning a flock of geese flew over
about 30 feet high. She's still perplexed by those guys
(they were very loud). More adventures await and she's
anxious for more. Thanks so much for such a wonderful
puppy.

Sonia: Thanks for the puppy! We
love her so much. We named her Hope. We could not
believe she did so well on the 10 hr ride home. She did
not cry at all. She is so smart, she has learned to sit,
knows her name and comes when called. I sent a couple of
pictures for you.
Thanks again, Roseann and Mike

Sonia and Tim,
I thought
I would write a quick note to tell you about the
past couple of days. We took Dutch to the nursing
home for about an hour to see how he would do with
meeting new people. He did wonderful. He was very
happy to meet everyone and was not standoffish or
fearful at all. Yesterday I took him to the school
to pick up Hannah and Emma so he was able to see all
of their classmates. Amidst all the screaming and
petting of all the kids at once, he was calm and
playful with anyone who brought a hand close enough
for him to sniff. He first met Kindergarteners, then
kids from grades 1-7. We then went to pick up
Christian at daycare where he was surrounded by
toddlers. The daycare center is in the middle of the
assisted living area of the nursing home so we met
some more seniors for awhile. He really loved it and
was eager to meet everyone that would come say
hello. He was very gentle with the seniors in
wheelchairs and walkers as if he naturally knew how
he needed to act with each person.
I was extremely proud to say he was only 9
weeks old and yet so well behaved. Brian.
We
are so happy with our New Moon puppy! Sonia took
great care of our puppy and us, as we negotiated our
way through puppy ownership! Every time we had a
question Sonia was there to help us out, leading us
through what a raw diet looks like and how to feed
our new family addition, and to the ins and outs of
vaccinations! Ellie, our beautiful golden, is
thriving in her new environment and is the picture
of health!
Thank you so much for raising such a happy little
girl who will give us years of joy! Nancy
Dear Sonia,
Thank you so much for being the careful and
ethical breeder that you are. We have had English
Goldens for many years and
never have we
had any puppies more wonderful than the two females
we bought from you. Sasha and Cher are both
incredible beauties with balanced, sweet
temperaments. They love our twin girls and learn
something new everyday. It can be somewhat scary to
purchase high end dogs from far away but dealing
with you is such a joy and your dogs are certainly
the finest quality available. You state that you are
breeding quality dogs with great temperaments, boxy
heads and good bones…and we got much more than that.
We are so happy with both of our New Moon puppies
and YOU!!!!
With love-The Pinto’s
Hi Sonia,
Quick update on Max; he is a happy, healthy,
energetic and (very) handsome boy. This photo was taken
at puppy kindergarten, where he just graduated with
straight A's and is already moving on to intermediate
training - he is so smart and has a whole repertoire of
tricks. Everyone loves Max and visa-versa. He has many
human and four legged friends and every single person
that sees him for the first time comments on 'what a
beautiful dog' he is. Every time he stretches he seems
to grow another inch; he's currently about 40 lbs (check
out the size of his paws).
Hello Sonia,
We’re writing to
update you on our wonderful boy Max.
He’s been with us at his new home in Nashville for a
little over two weeks now and he’s transitioned into
his new home and family better than we could have
hoped for. He’ such a loving, sweet and energetic
boy and an absolute joy. His appetite is great and
he’s already up to 18 pounds; our vet said he’s was
aptly named, as he’s going to be a big boy. He
loves to play in the yard, watch birds, airplanes
and even television occasionally. He also steals our
slippers daily. Max continues to make many new
friends and I’m sure that spring and summer are
going to be a great time for him.
P.S. Marsha has already taught him to sit, which he
does very well. He is also working on ‘lay down’
and ‘paw’ which he is improving on daily, Paul
Dear Sonia,
We LOVE our puppy!!!
He is as beautiful as pictured on the web
site. Everyone that has met him instantly falls
in love. He has a great demeanor, and is well
behaved and very lovable. Several friends have
mentioned they would definitely buy a puppy from
you. Our 5 year old said " I love the puppy so
much. I can't help it, he is irresistible"
Thank you New Moon!
Neal, Einat, Jacob, and Adam
We just wanted to let you know that the puppy is
doing great and is so beautiful and sweet and so
loving. She loves her home here and runs around
everywhere. Dellilah was introduced to her and is
getting to know her and will Mother Hen her. Oliver
was very jealous at first, but is getting used to
the idea that there is someone new around here. I
am cautious for a little while with him because he
is young and big and could get rough and we cannot
have that, of course.
I have to give you many thanks for this beautiful
new addition to our family. Julie loves her so
much. My son and husband think she is the cutest
thing ever. She is eating very well and drinking
plenty of water. She has a new toy to add to the
one you sent.
I will give you updates and send you pictures very
very soon.
Take care, Debbie
Hi Sonia, I just wanted to send a quick note to
let you know that we had a party this weekend, and I
could not even count how many times people commented
on how beautiful and well-behaved Irie was! :)
Hi Sonia,
Irie is an amazing puppy! He did so well on the
two-hour car ride home. He has a calm and sweet
disposition and is happy and playful, too. He has
adjusted to his new home quickly. He was easily
house/crate-trained, and is learning basic
commands. Our vet said he is perfect and thinks he
will be big boy! Thank you again for the wonderful
pup and all of your guidance. We will definitely
keep in touch!
Amy & Dominic
Dear Sonia,
Words cannot describe how adorable and loving our
new puppy is. She arrived by Delta airlines to
Florida in perfect health, all clean and ready for
Santa. We had Santa bring her to our children
Christmas Eve. What a great surprise that was. I had
always wanted to do that so it was extra special to
me. We named the pup Grace. She has not had one
accident in our house and knows to go outside in the
grass. Luckily we have no snow in Florida so the
training is going perfectly. She is very smart and
even goes to the door now. You were a pleasure to
work with and I am so crazy about our newest
addition. I think I kiss her at least 1 million
times a day. Of course, my 3 kids get their kisses
in too. I keep her in a crate at night and she has
adapted to that very nicely, by my bed of course.
Sincerely, Susan and Jeff
I just
wanted to take a minute to give you an update on Bravo.
He is well adjusted and a big part of the family. He is
a very happy and smart dog!! He is completely
housebroken and rings his bell on the door when he wants
to go out. My 4 children have taught him a number of
voice commands -- sit, lie down, give paw, fetch, come.
He sleeps in his crate willingly every night but likes
to go sleep with the kids in the morning once he is out
of his crate and the kids are still sleeping. He and the
cat are just starting to get along -- puppy wants to
play and he is obviously big for the cat. No major "chew
issues" yet.
He also likes the car. We recently visited my parents on
Long Island and he made the trip like a champ (no crate
in the car).
Thank you again for such a great dog and I will send
some pictures shortly.
I was
extremely pleased how smooth every thing went, this was
my first dog and Sonia helped in every way she could to
make sure I did everything right. As soon as I picked up
Bailey at the airport I fell in love with her. She was
the cutest little puppy I had ever seen. She is now
about 15 weeks and growing fast, she is extremely smart
and already has most of her training down. She is the
happiest puppy I have ever seen with also the most
energy. Thank you Sonia for all your help and for
breeding the best looking dogs. I get compliments where
ever I go. I always recommend to anyone that asks to get
a puppy from New Moon. I'm sure I'll be getting another
puppy in the near future and I wouldn't pick any other
breeder, Philip
We just
got back from the airport with puppy. She is
gorgeous!! and soo sweet
and calm and confident. You did a great job breeding
this litter. Haven't finalized a name yet but we'll let
you know and send pics. Take care! Janice
Well, it’s been a week, and “Polar” is very much
adjusted to her new home. She was actually adjusted in
less than 24 hours. She is a beautiful dog and is well
behaved (except for the house training part), but I
understand that will correct itself with time and
patience and many, many trips outside!!! We all have
been enjoying her very much.
Dear Sonia,
I can not tell you how thankful we are to have the very
special gift in our lives our Bronco. He is everything
and more that we could have ever hoped for in a puppy.
He is absolutely the most stunningly handsome boy with
perfect boy structure, a gorgeous coat and eyes
that show so much expression. He has so much
confidence for such a young puppy. Everyone that meets
him instantly falls in love with him. I have yet to
introduce him to someone who has not said that he
is the the most handsome puppy they have ever seen.
There is just something about our sweet Bronco!
From the moment I brought him home he fit right in.
There was no hesitance with him at all when meeting our
other Goldens. He just jumped right in as though he
knew he was where he was suppose to be. Even our cat
Coal has been won over by Bronco. My children of
course just adore him. He is surprisingly gentle with
them and does not bite and nip at them as some puppies
will do. He wants nothing more then to be by our side.
Thank you for being such a professional throughout the
entire process. You answered my many questions or
concerns promptly and Bronco arrived at the airport
clean, happy and healthy. I especially liked the puppy
folder with all of his information neatly put together.
It was a very simple process and I truly appreciate
it. Your professionalism and kindness were greatly
appreciated.
Bronco truly is an amazing puppy and we just know he is
going to be an amazing adult. He is so loved. Again,
thank you so much for our precious puppy.
Sincerely, Suzanne
Hi Sonia,
Just a photo update. Our girl
is just coming up on 6 months and already has a nice
long coat.
Thanks again! Brenda
Beamer
(5 months) just finished his puppy class with flying
colors. Everyone loves his calm personality and how
beautiful he is!
He is currently
about 52lbs, but you would never know it! His paws
are huge, but his appearance is healthy slender.
(You can see a waistline which you never could see
with my other golden)
I will
be putting Beamer in the next puppy class which is a
combo of basic training and just a little bit of
agility based on his age.
